I was up until 4 am following this story last night.A official press conference on the news right now.Will add any details that you don't have already here.They are watching Cambridge, Newton, Waltham, Belmont and all of Boston. The T (metro and buses) are shut down. Taxi service is also suspended in Boston.They are asking people to stay home in all of those areas. "Shelter in place." This covers a very large tract of land in the metro region, so that is a major concern. They really do not seem to know if he is still in Watertown or where he has gone.**Overall:Yesterday evening, the two men robbed a convenience store and then moved over to the area where MIT's Stata Center is located in Cambridge. That is where one of the prominent research labs is located and where the MIT police officer was killed during a confrontation around 10:30 last night. He had been responding to a disturbance there.The pair stole a Mercedes SUV at a gas station on Memorial Drive. They had the owner in the car for awhile, but amazingly, let that person go unharmed. They wound up in Watertown, the police found them quickly somehow and descended on that town. A transit police officer was critically injured, possibly during the Watertown shootout.Live video and people with their cameras documented many gun shots and at least two small explosions on one of the main streets there - people have said some small IEDs and maybe hand grenades had been throw at the police from the moving car - some of these (unexploded) were in the streets - that was late last night up until about 2 am.Then things got quieter, but this huge man hunt went on - door to door - looking in side streets, backyards, searching some houses. At 4 am they had focused on a few locations, one was an office or industrial building, not a home, but mostly the action was in tightly packed residential neighborhoods in this urban town.In other non-official news:As you have here on the thread - two brothers from Chechnya, one about 26, the other 19. One, Tamerlan Tsarnaev, was killed last night; the younger one, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, is still free.He was living in Cambridge. At least one of them had been here for awhile - about ten years; a young woman who was just interviewed had gone to high school with him two years ago. He has US citizenship and was registered to vote. They have two sisters who may also live in the Boston area. Their parents were here, but may have moved back to the Chechnya region, possibly Dagestan. This according to an interview with their uncle, who also lives here, on the phone with newscasters earlier.Anyone who is interested can follow the news from now, but I will post again if anything major happens.Releasing those video images of the suspects yesterday afternoon was very controversial, but it looks like it was effective. Unfortunate for the MIT police officer's family, but no other deaths at this time.

Same reason why 20% of people drink 80% of beer. Because they have fight in them, just like saudis are financing all islamic wars because they have oil. Top of any martial art in Russia is 50% Chechens, although they are tiny percent of the population. If they need half of US military and law enforcement to deal with one unarmed and untrained american raised Chechen teenager i wonder what'd they do if a few grown up native Chechen men show up to avenge his death.
