During my whole career in the City I haven't seen a single handicapped person. Glasses, bald head, fat belly - it's all what is allowed.Last year I worked for a small company renting offices in one of those London glass stuffy molochs, and I had to spend there a few days. I once went to the bathroom and got pretty scared by something which looked like a L4D scene: some people staggering around with their arms stretched out, heads raised and eyes half-closed. They were all half-blind and (together with some other guys with minor disabilities) worked for some another company in the building - they possibly get some salary contributions for people with minor disabilities (or a tax relief?). I also go to the gym with a guy on a wheelchair and several girls with breast implants, who work in finance.I am struggling a little to fit the surgically enhanced girls (women?) into the picture. Maybe it is a violation of the sentiment embodied in the title of the thread?
