It's more interesting to think of what you would do if money were no object.Besides anonymous philanthropy and funding interesting research, I would buy an American football team.You have to be approved by the NFL first though.(Which is why I would not say a British football club; you have to be approved there also and I don't think that the Man United fans would be too thrilled...)
