Financial Newsletter Distribution Firms/Contacts

April 11th, 2014, 2:40 pm

Hi all,I've been writing a weekly research report and financial newsletter for colleagues over the past few months and I'm thinking about offering it through a subscription basis. The primary audience is derivative traders, option traders, and volatility markets. I'm not interested in trying to sell it to a retail crowd or becoming some sort of household name, I would really like to go through professional distribution channels and price it for small to medium advisory offices or analyst desks. Does anyone know of companies or individuals who specialize in distributing and selling professional research content? Google searches do not yield much and I don't have a direct professional like to this part of the industry. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

You might want to check with Bloomberg. They certainly have the right clientele as well as the ability to permission stuff for a fee on a per user basis.

Another suggestion. Assemble a list of independent research shops, prepare a high quality sample of your work, and then start talking to them about some sort of redistribution deal. I have no idea if this can work, just throwing it out ...

I don't like this. I think we are more on guard against shameless spamming from people who have never posted before. This is one of those occasions where I would have liked to apply the blender, followed by a summary judgment of eviction.

Yes, I don't either. I'm not sure how to delete those two interjecting posts, but if admin would like to that would be fine. I have no affiliation to any other ends, Redeye my name is simply an old Airforce pilot tag given to me (against my will of course. My original thread is my actual concern, and I'm really thankful for the help and input of people here from the community. Thanks!

Thanks Alan, no harm, just didn't want anyone to take my interest less than seriously. Best.
