Hi,I recently started in power trading role, where I mainly look after the Import of day ahead electricity. Due to a leaving colleague i am expected to move more towards an Analyst role. Anyway, the point is that I have to get up to speed asap on forecasting day ahead electricity prices. After some Research I decided to use R btw. The challenge is the following: My forecast consists of todays Price (autoregressive part), and external regressors like gas price, temperature, availability of renewables (wind, solar...).If anyone could point me to the right direction or even provide some R/MatLab code it would help me tremendously. Also, if you know of any tutors with the relevant skill set, I would be interested.Many thanks in advance!Markus

For short term building a stack is probably the best way forward, time-consuming and data intensive as it may be.
