FATCA/tax treaties and future of wealth management sector

Possible FATCA and other tax information sharing treatieshas the potential to be major game changer in wealth management.Has anyone done objective study of long term impact ofFATCA/tax treaties in how wealth gets routed in future?India probably looses 30% plus capital to Switzerland,Singapore, Dubai etc.If even half of this money stays back the equity marketin India will scale dizzying heights.

I think FATCA and related heavy-handed tax policies of the US is a way to prop up the USD as it is in its death rattle.The US is seen as the last safe haven for now, Chinese and others are plowing as much as they can into US real estate and farmland. Attraction of foreign money as well as forcing Americans to keep their money domestic is the agenda, I think.
