no gre general

August 16th, 2003, 3:17 am

I was a gov major at a top 15 liberal arts college. When I apply, I'm not going to take the general test. I'd rather take the math subject. (its possible that they would rather see a math subject test as well...I was a gov major after all).Anybody know somebody who did something like this. I am aware that many international students are being accepted into programs despite low verbal gre scores; this logic problematizes my situation. In any case, i think the subject would be better to show some quant ability beyond coursework.Any thoughts?
