What do IBs do?
Trading; Mergers and Aquisitions; non-Charitable fund raising; Corporate Analysis; MBOs; IPOs.... the list goes on. All good stuff.

What do IBs do?
Fund raising that's not for charity.Corporate analysis is simply the analysis of companies and then the creating reports of for private or public reading regarding your findings: what are the company's future prospects etc.? Is it worth buying into etc.?

What do IBs do?
IB is an incredible overused and misused term. Can apply to everything from equity sales to issuing debt. Think of the basic break-down of businesses on either side of the Chinese wall.
