Hello dear forum members,
I am facing a difficult decision and hope you can help me. I have been admitted to two prestigious master's programmes in the field of financial mathematics and I am unsure which programme to choose: the MSc in Mathematical Finance and Actuarial Science at TU Munich or the MSc in Computational Mathematical Finance at the University of Edinburgh.
I would like to hear your opinions and experiences. What factors should I consider when making my decision? Has anyone had experience with either programme? What are the pros and cons (aside from tuition fees and cost of living)? What about career and networking opportunities?
Some aspects I have already considered are the curriculum, the focus of the programmes, and financial aspects such as tuition fees and cost of living.
I would really delight in your advice and insights to help me make an informed decision. Perhaps there are also graduates or current students of the programmes who can tell me more about their personal experiences.
Thanks in advance for your help!
Best regards
