He said. He’s going to safe haven assets like frozen concentrated orange juice. If he lived in Philadelphia. He just wouldn’t understood where we come from.

I introduced the hyperinflation topic as part of the sequence: Brexit + Boris -> Attack on old from young and Remoaners -> Same groups hoping that old people die off -> Corona -> old people dying off, pensions falling. The only thing old people had left was perhaps some savings. So the final nail in the coffin...inflation.
It’s all transitory until Britain beaks. But wait for Germany to break first

And British people are kind and nice and believe in Justice and kindness. And Americans. North and south. Don’t believe any of it.

Just ride out the volatility. Tell LPs it’s a 24 month cycle. And it’s worth it. And if redemptions come. Just tell them they’re locked in to the 300-% ish return they’ll get.

Write an LP EMAIL Paul. I’m sorry I didn’t go long the magnificent seven. Give me my lockout periods. You can’t redeem from this closed end fund. I’ll deliver alpha. 7 generals need to be murdered.

“Dear LPs.

Thanks for your confidence in us.
I got notice from your layers yesterday about our irresponsibly long position on (you guess friends). You’re upset and you had your worst year in 10 with us an LP. I’m GP. You gave us constant for 16 months left of lockout. I have a 24 month horizon. And you get positive carry the whole time. Why go to lawyer?l”

Love your GP. ME

Having seen yet another car accident in London I was just about to post in the Stupid Clock thread about the inevitable increase in insurance. Anyway, Sky News beat me, over 40% increase in one year.

So add stupidity to the causes of inflation.
The rise of EVs? Much more expensive to fix.
Worst business on earth. Does best the ukulele business by a small margin. And we didn’t commit.
