All in the family...

Tsar Nicholas and King George. They were not only similar to each other but also true friends, which of course did not prevent King George from contributing to the murder of Tsar Nicholas and his family, politics is politics. Tell me which is which without using the internet!

BTW. The clown's outfit seems to be more serious.

BTW.

It is a proven fact that France has given more money to Russia (in exchange for fuel) than to Ukraine. Big mouth is useful for three functions but none of them is military.

YMMD. France provides Ukraine with hot air. Oops, I forgot about the shelter for the Monaco battalion.

Thank you for the page, I have a very bad opinion of France but did't know it's such a paper tiger. Six planes, some artillery, some missiles... And a lot of hot air.

On a vaguely related note - if, as now seems plausible, the US will be allied with Russia against Europe, which side will Türkiye take?

Listening to mini-Trump JD seriously demands anti-vomiting drugs. Serious brain rot at work… Yale, I guess? Or just the hillbilly shining through? An asshole anyway.
For a moment I thought you were going to comment on his nice eyes.

Not the Russian one, I think.
Do they want to bring Baku back into the Ottoman Empire?
I once bought the first edition 24-volume set of Buchan's History of the War in an Oxfam shop.
It's mostly revisionist but the prelude Vol I is very telling.

Trump is now not only actively trying to bring about major stagflation in the US, but is actually being totally open about it. And the two airheads, Bessent and Lutnick, say whatever he wants them to say on the matter…

Trump's Irish voters and their importance for transatlantic relations

https://www.rte.ie/news/analysis-and-co ... s-ireland/

"The Irish are among the wealthier groups in the United States, and as people get money, they become more conservative, more protective of that money," he said.
Mainstream Irish Catholics have also tended to follow much of the clergy, he said and our "institutional clergy has been pretty conservative".

Yep, get the priorities right.

Oh, it’s now punishable by prison in El Salvador to consider voting for anybody than a republican. By presidential decree, because DEMOCRACY!
