Professor Derman is at Columbia, isn’t he?
Oh, and my good friend and former intern! Maybe I could squeeze him in to keep you company? Forgive my l’arte dell’aroganza :-D He’s a brilliant boy! Doing PhD in cutting edge AI/ML models there.

He still holds an emeritus title, but I believe he retired from active service a couple of years ago. He ran the masters program in the engineering school and Lars the corresponding program in the math department. As usually happens in these cases, there wasn’t a lot of communication and cooperation between the two, and (as best as I could tell) neither interacted with the finance people in the business school.

Oh, and the event is free and open to the public (like me), but I’m not sure if there is still space left.

This is hopefully not the right thread to be posting this question, but has anybody seen a sign of Gamal for the last couple of months?

Thank you for your memory, I am alive and well. I simply have nothing to say.

Not necessarily. You could be arguing in your spare time.

Good to hear! Of course, when you do have something to say I often disagree, but that’s neither here nor there.
