...I found out that Ian McKellen lives down the street and owns a pub.
Do you know Baron Evgeny Alexandrovich Lebedev?
No. My only connection to those circles was going to the same gym as BJ for some time. Right next to his HQs and architectonic personification. (Don't read it wrong, I really like the guy!)

He is part owner of that bar. Just saying.

The barman never mentioned that to me!
The ONS housing statistics for London should include the probability of a property being part-/owned by a russian oligarch and perhaps also their remaining life expectancy - to being found dead in it.

Yeah, I'm absolutely sure that Dahl and Nygaard came up with the idea of Simula when sitting in the Oslo lab and reading Atlas Shrugged. OOP concept in CS predate Rand's work, so she must have stolen it :-) Please, let's cut the bool*!
I would say dollar signs
Simula is the name of two simulation programming languages, Simula I and Simula 67, developed in the 1960s at the Norwegian Computing Center in Oslo, by Ole-Johan Dahl and Kristen Nygaard. Simula 67 introduced objects,  classes,  inheritance and subclasses,  virtual procedures,  coroutines,  and discrete event simulation; it also featured garbage collection. Other forms of subtyping (besides inheriting subclasses) were introduced in Simula derivatives.

Simula is considered to be the first object-oriented programming language. As its name suggests, the first Simula version by 1962 was designed for doing simulations; Simula 67 though was designed to be a general-purpose programming language and provided the framework for many of the features of object-oriented languages today. It introduced important concepts that are an essential part of object-oriented programming, such as class and object, inheritance, and dynamic binding. The object-oriented Simula programming language was used mainly by researchers involved with physical modelling, such as models to study and improve the movement of ships and their contents through cargo ports.
In the 1970s, the first version of the Smalltalk programming language was developed at Xerox PARC by Alan Kay, Dan Ingalls and Adele Goldberg. Smalltalk-72 included a programming environment and was dynamically typed, and at first was interpreted, not compiled. Smalltalk became noted for its application of object orientation at the language-level and its graphical development environment. Smalltalk went through various versions and interest in the language grew. While Smalltalk was influenced by the ideas introduced in Simula 67 it was however, designed to be a fully dynamic system in which classes could be created and modified dynamically.

Our CAD office in Rotterdam once 1980s sold 100 CAD workstations (each one costing 1/2 million $$) to Norge in one month.

Can someone tell me about the influence of Objectivist Epistemology on the MAGA movement?

So why does Trump claim to be inspired by her? The answer, surely, is that Rand lionises the alpha male capitalist entrepreneur, the man of action who towers over the little people and the pettifogging bureaucrats – and gets things done. As Jennifer Burns puts it: “For a long time, she has been beloved by disruptors, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, people who see themselves as shaping the future, taking risky bets, moving out in front of everyone else, relying only on their own instincts, intuition and knowledge, and going against the grain.”

Ayn Rand? Didn’t she rise in American high society the same way the current First Lady did?  Ayn Rand messed up Alan Greenspan’s head so much they had to hide his PhD thesis!
