QuoteOriginally posted by: FDAXHunterI have no idea about the bates method, but I used to be basically blind on one eye (still don't have 3D vision), but I was able to improve it by covering up my left I and just walking around, doing everyday stuff, forcing the eye to do its job. It got much better after a while. So my experience is that you can definitely train your eye. Makes sense, as it is usually focal problems, which are controlled by muscles. So exercising them should help.Regards.had the same problem because of an accident I went from seeing nearly nothing (1 out of 10, but you can be neg also... dunno how the scale is made) to 6 out of 10 on one eye. but those trainings by covering one eye were done as I was a kid. Now it must be tougher. Focusing is as FDAX said a matter of muscles but if the cornea is hit, scratched, sick, etc..... no training on the muscle will improve it. You learn it the hard way when you wannabe a fighter pilot since you were nearly born.
