Right, my congratulations. You guys are good Eurozone soldiers. It's perfectly human to be married to say a religious Middle Eastern woman and wish you were married to a tall, tanned, green eyed Scandinavian blonde with a taste for perverted sex. What's worse is that it became a base working assumption in the land of Eurocratia. They look at a man and they assume he is just pretending he is not German. Like some quant wannabe who values whatever he lays his eyes on with a Black Scholes formula. We'll just starve Greeks until they turn into Germans. What, they've died and still didn't turn into Germans? Those tax avoiding slimy bastards, what's wrong with them?

Whats wrong to being married with that Nordic goddess and have even more perverted sex with a Lebanese stunning chick or two? I doubt any of my Dutch friends will object. I would rather make a rebellion to more substantial issues like the concept of monogamy deviced by priests and lawyers, than against euro.

By the way, the Yanis you admire is unemployed today. Nevertheless, its rather unlikely he will queue at the job centers, together with the unemployed guys he made with his actions.

QuoteBut it would be better for the Greeks if they were more like the Dutch...Having lived in Holland for some time, I concur by 80%. How long did you live in the Netherlands? Which 20%? We could exchange notes. But becoming an Amsterdammer could get you bonus points. Taxes are too high here. But no corruption at all here. Just a bit of fraud by bad people.

If this makes Eurorats give Greeks debt relief instead of strangling Greece extra hard out of hate for this man, I will have to say i admire him very much. So would many other people in Greece and all over the world, I am sure. As of now i said that i understand him and respect what i know about him and surely I respect his quitting after this vote. As far as Lebanese ladies, sure, that was the point -- the grass is greener on the other side. And sure, as far as sanctity of the sacred institution of marriage -- you are preaching to the choir. It's just it's hard not to notice that problems of Euro are like problems of a marriage, and not just any marriage -- they are like those of pre-arranged marriage of incompatible people without a possibility of divorce.

When they make the Grexit movie, I would like to nominate Steve Martin for the role of Minister Varoufakis. Had Leslie Nielsen still been alive, well then that would have been an entirely different kind of flying altogether.

I support those saying: the wrong FM has been fired - it should have been Schäuble. Why? UnGrexit. UnGrexit is not about avoiding a Grexit, it's about the bigger picture of a Grexit - how it was prepared and how it was managed by the EC the ECB and the IMF. As a result the EU will fall apart. Because it is evident now that the EU is not like North America it's much more like South America. And the cost of the multilateral divorce (Zerdna is right IMO) is much higher than the rescue of Greece would have been (how "guilty" they ever are).p.s. USE or less coupled - was clear from the beginning. USE is impossible with politicians, like Schäuble.

I'm in Lisbon, the fear is that Greek thing might spread.

The Greek reform proposalsIt is interesting reading as it gives rough idea on how Greece works (or doesn't work) now.
