“Return of the sausages.”

I think we’ve just seen the defining moment of this government.

Those are the eyes of someone who is worried. But about what? If he's worried that we will find out that he's incompetent then he can relax, we've known this for weeks. No, there is something else...

You would never catch a true Tory (or even Scotsman) with such a grimace. No worries.

Duffield, 53, has become the fastest MP to jump ship after a general election in modern political history. She is writing to the prime minister today informing him of her decision to resign the whip “with immediate effect”.

In her excoriating resignation letter, Duffield condemned Starmer for accepting gifts worth more than £100,000, including clothing, glasses and accommodation paid for by Lord Alli, the Labour peer.

“The sleaze, nepotism and apparent avarice are off the scale,” she wrote. “I am so ashamed of what you and your inner circle have done to tarnish and humiliate our once proud party.”

Won’t be long before they leave Labour and join Reform.

It would be churlish to deny the emperor his new clothes.
Tories are much sneakier, e.g. James Cleverly's tax evasion, then he writes a book about his escapades and then advertises it on Question Time. Chancers, all of them, what?
Rosie Duffield in the Tory party?

I'm waiting for the BBC to make some, any, mention of all the scandals, just a teeny weeny mention somewhere. Until that happens I cannot possibly know what I'm supposed to think.

Yes, it's strange. Like when Gaza is being discussed,  no one (is allowed to) mention Occupied West Bank.
Paul, would Lib Dems be the perfect match for you? Will you think about it?

Yes, it's very sad. When I see these poor unfortunate souls, my heart goes out to them. Gaza is pretty bad too.

Like here, four days ago? https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c4g52w4d1lqo
Well done! The teeny weeny mention I struggled to find.

@Cuch I'm sure Bobby J meant well. There are others who would prefer to see the Star of David sewn into clothing.

"didn't  he do well".

It was touch and go with a quote from Mandy Rice-Davies.
