I used to fight twice a week with Ruska in clubs Oyama in Amsterdam .. he used me as uke as throws. Unfortunately he got a stroke and was an invalid. Sadly he died a few years ago. Before he died he bequethed all his photos to my current judo club, also called Oyama in his honour.6'6''! I would give you a medal for daring to come near those goliaths - with a sling? Good question! That's what I used to think; 'Oyama' means bright mountain or something and the club has nothing to do with Mas Oyama (BTW that's not his real name, he was Korean).Cool moustaches
Forgive my ignorance, but why the surname of the Kyokushin style founder would commemorate Ruska?
