There are ways to design more equitable distributions of resources and fairness in opportunities that don’t entail giving it all away.Sure! As long as they explain why they aren't giving everything to the needy and opening up their mansions to the homeless.
I have to get back on the road but here is an example.
Earlier today, I bought what you might consider “luxury” yarn at two stores.
The orange gold purple skeins are from
Peru. The assortment of other skeins are from Uruguay.
These are small farm holders, but fair wages to employees and kind treatment of the animals - alpacas and sheep.
Free trade fair trade
Means happy customer (me!)
Happy yarn shop owner who is delighted to carry Malabrigo and Manos del Uruguay
And people able to work and run profitable sustainable businesses in challenging regions.
This is more about International socialism than domestic voting. But the underlying principles are the same.
And let women (especially unmarried ones) have the right to earn, with daycare on site or babies at their sides. : )
