anyone here from singapore? i would appreciate to get some advices from a local (singapore) context, or comments regarding financial engineering industry here.

Not much happening on fianancial engineering in Singapore for three reasons: 1)No liquidity in the markets to participate in. 2)Investment banks in Asia is still in retrenching mode. 3)Two local universities, NUS and NTU produce about 80 grads a year, no market for them.
