I wasn't expecting people to start discussing the physical attributes of females at the two colleges! Although, I am sure ladies at IC are also very beautiful :-)Maybe you should seek females outside your own gene pool! Then your kids will have both good brains and beautiful body.In the case of mit we know where his 'brains' are!

Instead of thanking him for his courteous and generous piece of advice, you are calling him rude. Sorry pal this is just unacceptable.Feel free to judge and criticise him, once you become like him. Untill then just watch, listen, and filter every word your mouth tells.

I feel i can learn alot more at IC. LSE largely have an interest in insurance/actuarial mathematics.I am sure IC wouldn't look that bad on my CV...agreed?

QuoteOriginally posted by: DrMMonteCarloSo rude! Mr. "Senior Member"!Thank you Anthis.MonteCarlo,Your main aim, when you go to Uni is to learn a skill that is sponsored by your parents. Of course, meeting members of the opposite sex is great, but not a reason for choosing uni X above uni Y.So, not rude at all. Most of the cleverest women I know have not been to uni and have not been brainwashed to think according to the mores of the ivory tower.BTW. fyi I graduated in Trinity College in Dublin. That was, at least in 1970's a cool place to meet many people. But not the reason why I went there. It had a very good maths dept.
