One of the scariest parts of judo is with kata, especially @1.12. @1.30 . First,. all the blood goes to the head and down to the legs, When you land all the blood is in the legs and you feel extremely dizzy.
Same feeling as jet fighters under 4G? G-forces push down, pooling your blood in your abdomen and legs. Tensing your muscles will help keep the blood pumping in your heart and brain
Great stretching exercise.

Why would you explain smart pointers to people who have no previous programming experience? As a form of torture?

You miss the point. Use Java if you can't handle pointers.\
The first thing to learn in martial arts is BREAKFALL!

I'm saying

Understand raw pointers very well

I'm not (necessarily) saying

Use raw pointers all the time

We've been through pointers so many times.

I thought we've left them behind...

I only meant that if someone played that video to me on a C++ course, I would think I'm at kindergarten or The Open University.

I saw a guy hit himself in his gonads with a kendo stick. He walked out bent leaning on it like on a walking stick and covering his face.

  • Of course, a situation like that does tempt amateurs but you know they can't stay the course like a professional
