Liam's family did not have a piano, so he practiced on my grandparents' grand piano. His grandparents lived next door. He was a precocious little fella I remember. Elton John's manager offered him a contract on the condition he ditched his group Bagatelle. Dundalk people don't that.

The Cork-born singer, 31, told a press conference in Malmö they were forced to change their body paint in Ogham script - an early Medieval alphabet - which translated to "ceasefire" and "freedom", a nod to the situation in Gaza and amid Israel's inclusion in the Eurovision.2024
Not many people can read Ogham, let alone speak it.

Butch Moore was Ireland's first entrant in 1965. I missed it because I was on stage myself in Dundalk's Town Hall. For some reason we learned German songs in national school. Catchy toons.
Oklamhoma, 76 Trombones and Happy Days were great shows as well that we performed.
