I once came to the conclusion (upon as serious and thorough thinking as I can get to) that UAT belongs to the same class of statements as that about life existing beyond Earth. (An ML coder would repartee that we have no evidence of that, so it’s not equivalent. I’m thinking about the ML computational set up workings in practice, from data to all approximations made in the model implementation.)
