Indeed.
Cadet Bone Spurs seems to be helping that along with his insistence that immigration officers cosplay as SEAL Team 6 when they arrest gardeners and grandmas and by his birthday parade.
But a lot of the American military is essentially fascist. It still floors me that Michael "QAnon" Flynn was a three star general.
I can only hope there was some sort of head trauma involved in his political evolution.

Something different this time around is that during Trump 1.0 the US military regularly and forcefully stated that they would not obey illegal orders whenever the rapist/felon/seditionist launched his trial balloon ideas of setting the military against US citizens on US soil. I cannot say I am listening for it, but I hear no such thing now from the military so far into Trump 2.0, which suggests the Trump appointments are having their desired effect.

So, when Trump says that Israel is likely to attack Iran shortly and thus cause a major war in the Middle East, is that anti-Semitic, or do you have to be affiliated with a major US university to qualify for that?

This is pretty funny:
Seat Fillers Needed
Excerpt: "
We encourage people of color and ethnic groups to sign up for maximum perception control and these individuals will be prominently displayed on the televised broadcast and local viewing screens to be seen by the VIP platform."

Did she go to a restaurant where the immigrant kitchen crew intentionally poisoned her?
Or maybe one where the newly hired American replacement crew accidentally poisoned her?

I have to suspect that the Netanyahu government took full advantage of idiots being in charge of American military decisions in their decision to attack Iran.
Netanyahu has had a hard-on for attacking Iran for decades, and he has no doubt on many previous occasions proposed it to his sponsor state ... only to have competent military leaders tell him, "No dice."
Now the idiots -- who know better than the generals, don't you know -- gave it the go-ahead, and not only is the US having to participate in defending the Israelis from the blow-back, as well as in all likelihood having to pay for (a) replenishing the weaponry the Israelis used in the attack, (b) all of the anti-missile weaponry they (and the US) used in defense, and (c) repairing and rebuilding everything that was damaged in the counter-attack ... but also the idiots in charge are being sweet-talked into joining the illegal war in order to finish the task that the Israelis couldn't.
Thankfully, America is running massive budget surpluses, so we'll be able to fund all that without cutting medical coverage, cancelling all manner of research grants, laying off thousands of government employees, ending a lot of the international programs we have used to maintain a world order under our control, cutting the funding for rounding up and deporting undocumented immigrants or foregoing the extension of the 2017 tax cuts for corporations and the wealthy.
Fun times!

That Nobel Peace Prize should be locked up now, what with the Ukraine war settled in the first 24 hours and the US staying out of all forever wars in the Middle East.

I think Vladimir Putin or Xi Jinping, or a couple others, could lock up a Nobel Peace Prize fairly easily.
Just provide Iran nuclear weapons. Then there is no reason any longer to worry about Iran getting nuclear weapons: they already have them!
War over.

I don't think the idea is ever, really, to impose a liberal democracy ...
Liberal democracy is barely tolerated back home.

Well that's the talking point.
I know / knew several anti-regime Iranians. None of them are even remotely accepting of their country being bombed into regime change, no matter what they think about the Ayatollah. The fact that they don't trust or do hate him and his buddies doesn't mean they trust the US, say nothing about Israel.
Not to mention the British/US puppet and corrupt Mohammad Reza Pahlavi aka the Shah who overthrew a democratically elected government and wasted Persia's resources.
