Newport is pretty special, with a large inner harbor and very active Shipyard, with a focus on racing and large yachts (as opposed to Mystic Seaport, which also has maritime amenities, but not quite the same clientele.
I don't know every port of call along the Connecticut coast line, but Greenwich Harbor is much smaller, less sheltered, and does not have the scale of operations for repairs and so forth.
Here is another large yacht that's been kicking around for a couple of weeks, just to give a sense of the ambience.

The buyer at that time was not named, but
Seven Seas, now known as
Man of Steel, is moored within the harbor.
To add to the drama, the buyer was eventually revealed to be Barry Zekelman, Canadian steel billionaire.
