And, I can go out and run 2 hours and something with nothing in my stomach after a work day. That always amazes people.Besides I have a great capacity to stay awake. I'm kindda focused (but I'm not an alien though).

How long?it sounds as though you are just there to finishskip the warm up and take it easy the first 2 or 3 miles, that will be your warm up.If there are lots of people, you may find it hard to go fast those first few miles anywayI don't know how close your home (or hotel) is to the start line You should have already got your number etc at the expo. The main reason to get there early would be to fight for a good starting positionIf you don't care where you start, half an hour before would be more than enoughI'd get up at 7am, have a light breakfast and a shower and saunter over to be at the start by 8:30am

Thanks for all the support I just watched a vido showing the marathon's route. The part across the fields SW Geneva will be hard to manage mentally (kinda boring).BTW I'll try to assess the yield potential of rapeseed and wheat plots there while running Endless route

assuming it's him, tagoma has gone through 13.5k in 01:01:53 which would translate to a marathon time of 3:13:25 if he maintains the same pace

QuoteOriginally posted by: ppauperfinish3:31:31Place Réel : 359Thx for the follow through.Unfortunately I couldn't access the internet while running. The first 14 km were quite okay. But, my pace just broke quickly thereafter. And I was a struggle for the remainder of the race.At the 32 km started a 7km kindda straight line on a 4 way road along the Leman Lake, with strong headwings at 3 hours. Awful. Then from the 39 km to the 42 km, it was just endless with slopes and downhills through a park.In French people say something like "I ran with head". And what a relief during the latest 195 m My foot is bleeding. -- Some signal I'm learning. --I am very disappointed by my time. But it is a good experience anyway!Next time, I'll train better.
