Will this model by able to model next generation  COVID pandemics?
 
 
I think NSFD is essentially the same idea as my exponentially fitted schemes for parabolic PDE. I posted here on this a while back.
  
So, basically the NSFD is exact for constant-coefficient case. The original idea goes back to de Allen and Southwell (1955).

The pharmaceutical giant AstraZeneca's Covid-19 vaccine is being withdrawn globally after the company acknowledged in court documents that it can cause a rare and dangerous side effect. However, the pharma giant said that the vaccine is being removed from the markets for commercial reasons.
