Supply/demand issue! Avian diseases of different kinds. People moving to eggs as meat get too expensive.
And as usual intermediaries in the supply chain who make the best of the situation.
Meanwhile, I assume the Trump Administration has its own view about the chicken or the egg causality dilemma!
