Why did the American colonies rebel against Britain? 

A big part of it was that Britain had grown weary of defending the colonies when they kept expanding into territory occupied by Native Americans.

Sort of like in Palestine when the British grew weary of defending ever growing numbers of Zionist colonist against the native Palestinians ...

Not many countries would elevate a terrorist who planned the murder of a United Nations mediator to be their prime minister.

Probably only one, actually.

If you murder a United Nations mediator, it's almost of necessity because you don't want an objective ruling on whatever dispute you're having.

OK, there are fringe elements in every conflict; some of them willing to violate the very most basic rules of civility.

But to then make a member of such a fringe element your prime minister ...

I have yet to see even a single video of Russian children calling for the murder of Ukrainian children, but there are a shocking number of videos of Israeli children and young adults calling for the murder of Palestinian children.

And they seem completely unaware that they have become monsters.
