QuoteOriginally posted by: zerdnaMob, your general picture makes sense, however it shows you are unfamiliar with specific details of the subject. Let me give a much more realistic description of Manhattan Russian model. First, tall, bony and "striking" are runway models. There are all kinds of other types and believe me you just haven't checked out the right places, otherwise your general characterization would be quite different. Generalities are tough on life circumstances, what models or women in general are looking for in men, but here's a most typical progression that I encountered a few times. 1. She comes from the ship, oftentimes with no legal way to stay in US, often from a family with financial problems. Often she wasn't considered a that drop-dead gorgeous in her country because competition there is different. She lives in Brooklyn, she gets any agressive Brooklyn Russian guy, typically complete jerk. 2. Gets some job, goes around, guys hit on her like crazy, someone often offers some little modelling work, realizes her worth a little more. Get's to date a rich American guy. Doesn't matter how he looks. He lives in the city, has a cool car/apartment, takes her to expensive trips abroad, etc. She is completely wild -- parties, all nine yards.3. Realizes it's not cool to go out with old guy and live in Brooklyn. Moves to the city, dates younger american businessmen, some good looking, some not. Artsy types are great to hang out with but not for real stuff. Goes through quite a few guys.4. Wants to settle down, usually after 27. Tries to find a good looking, tall, very well-off, very normal guy, who just gets her a calm, fairly upscale existence. House in the suburbs, kids, american dream. Strong preference to a Russian guy again if she could find a normal one.Mate your know how is amazing!! How can we take advantage of this and make some really good business?
