It made me laugh because we don't do things like that, we have rules and tax!sounds like taxis in France. taxi asks before it starts the car how you will pay, and the counter runs faster if you pay by card, eg from Charles De Gaule Airport to La Défense you will be charged ?70 if you pay with cash and ?100 if you pay with your card. "Paris, mon amour"?

It made me laugh because we don't do things like that, we have rules and tax!Kind of like a mini version of what's going on now. This new restaurant is modern and flourishing, 3x more people work there now, a busy place, and no strange cash proposals. How naïve.The joys of living in a Nordic-style country where people love paying taxes so that the government can buy nice JSF planes and Italian trains for us.Have you had jobs done to your house recently? Did you pay VAT?A restaurant can buy a manky IT system to register 9 out of 10 transactions, sell horsemeat as if it were beef, etc. etc. These are ways to fool the tax man.//Problem with cards.charge interest. they take month before you get your money.

QuoteOriginally posted by: CuchulainnQuoteOriginally posted by: somorThe whole referendum thing is irrelevant. Tsipras and Varoufakis are merely playing for time.To a certain extent, yes. But if you pause to ponder, there's more to it than meets the eye. For one thing, it gives the Greek people a chance to say what they think of the EU/IMF cartel.I believe vote rigging is extremely plausible....or as you say, might be more than it appears.

I pay my tax as well. That is not the issue here.My issue was this; you said 'we' and now you say 'I'.Quote It made me laugh because we don't do things like that, we have rules and tax!Care to explain what you meant? I took it as 'we live in a squeky clean country, not like Greece'. Which is BS.
