For your kitchen library:

If you want to keep the women happy, in particular, it might be good to think beyond the tinned beans.
Scarlett asked me to let you know. ; )

edit: smaller book image!

Our BrexKit is now tins of beans and dog food. More tomorrow.
I'm just hoping you have a dog.

Of course. They taste a bit like lamb.

But once you open it you'll have to eat it all in a few days?

The prices are projected to grow 8% and most people in this country should cut their calorie intake by at least 1/3...
Since I started a raw diet my daily spending on food hasn't exceeded £1 (I collect a bowl of leftovers from a local market every day). If there's a food crisis, I'll buy a farming land and grow my own food - that's how Ukrainians survived wars, Stalin (close call) and communism.

No.  The 180 servings are all in individual pouches

@pp I’m in!

@kat I hear the UK only produces 60% of its own food. So that works out nicely! The reduction in obesity thanks to Brexit means we won’t even have to spend an extra £350m a week on the NHS.

My wife has pointed out that without water the Mac’n’cheese can’t be reconstituted. Better to get tinned.

This is going to be great! Like camping but without the creepy-crawlies.

Someone should take a screenshot of this thread and send it to The Independent as "Rich Tory Brexiteers crack jokes about no-deal food shortages" ;-)

I like it! Slightly spoiled by the emphasis on baked beans and Mac’n’cheese rather than foie gras and caviar.

Note to The Independent reader: If you hadn’t tried to disrupt Brexit then we wouldn’t be in this situation. Welcome to the real world, you’ll find that you can’t survive on whining.

Which reminds me. Wine! To Lidl!

Well, one of the nice things about Brexit is that we'll be able to ban foie gras import (bye bye Single Market).

We can all live like people in rural England, in harmony with Nature, tranquillity and happiness. The progress is passée.
