is it a good book to read......??Will i get anything uot of it? Recall it heavily publicised in the wilmott magazine but was wondering people view on it

From a historical point of view, absolutely. However, if you want to learn more practical techniques of card counting, look to Arnold Snyder or Stanford Wong.

It's an ideal introduction to blackjack strategy and card counting, and very easy to read because it isn't just a card game book but contains an account of the author's experience testing out the techniques in casinos. And it only costs about $10.But Professional Blackjack by Stanford Wong is more up to date (although less gripping!)P

Professional Blackjack is not for the amateur though. It assumes you know how to count cards.Adas
