private message problem

I replied to a private message today, but after sending it, thereply did not appear in my folders. So, I composed a shortquery to ask the recipient if he got it; again the sent message didnot appear. This seems to be a new bug.regards,alan p.s. Answered another pm today from a different user. Worked fine.Then, I composed my third attempt to reply to the user above. Again,it did not work.

I'll have a look today at your account to see if there is a particular reason for your problem, I could not replicate it on another account.RegardsJames

It could be because the user you tried to PM has been banned, no?

Actually, I seem to have had my message count go up, then down.Given I've been chatting to Paul W, presumably, I don't think this is a banning issue, unless there's something I don't know....

The reason for this behaviour was that the user he was trying to send a PM to had PMs turned off in his profile.J
