Hey,I am looking for equation editor which I can download free. My Office does not give equation editor.Thanks

J,I use Mathtype and find it to be ok. However it's only a thirty day trial. I'd be interested if anyone else can offer something more permanent.

LaTeX is free, good, fast to type equations in, and the standard for many academic papers. There are several different versions of that and tetex you can download from the web depending on your GUI needs, etc.You should double-check if your office can install equation editor, since it should be there, just not necessarily by default.

Latex is the best!I advise you to use it with WinEdt or XEmacs
