Numerical solution algorithm Fokker-Plank equation
As an intern I ran into an algorithm to calculate a functional form of the local volatility surface. Within this algorithm one needs to solve the Fokker-Plank equation numerically. How can I do this? Is there any literature on possible algorithms to solve such differential equations? Thanks!
