On the URL you send them the .ps and in a minute they send you back the .pdf for the file.I've never had a problem with the .pdf created.

Install GhostScript+GhostView, open the ps file with GhostView, and then File->Convert->pdfwriter.

Yes, Ghostview is fine but often I'm at the library and find a .ps I want to print or at least look at and the online converter is easier than saving the file [if it would even fit on a disk] and taking home to view.

one thing that's worth knowing is that if you start with a dvi file, then use the -Ppdf option when creating the postscript with dvips. When you convert the ps to pdf with ghostscript, the final doc is much better.
