How is Boston for Quants?

August 8th, 2006, 5:55 pm

Just curious as to what you all think of Boston as a plae for Quants? Incidentally, I would also like to know your thoughts on how Boston treats browns, especially after the 9/11. I have heard from some people that its to some extent a racist place. Any comments?

Browns are basically kicked around and then tossed into Ovens so that they can be baked to 'perfection'. more brown.VB is a bad language for finance. Quants are very few in numbers ,I am talking about a true quant. They don't know 'vb'.yeh, yeh yehcheerscosmo the black

Any comments? For Quants as for any other profession, Boston is a very cold place :-)Concerning the racism issue, what I can say is that there is a huge Lebanese community in Boston (there is even a Riad al Solh place in the city) so I assume it must be OK. Tipically, people in those northern atlantic cities are far much more open minded than the barbarians leaving in the middle southern states, so do not worry !
