Hi there,Does anyone have any experience of the special investments group at Goldmans? Its basically a subgroup of the Private Wealth Management. I have an interview with them this week for a structuring role. I am going in for the morning and have 3 interviews, one with an Analyst, one Associate and on VP. Any insight into how the group has been performing recently and what products they are doing at the moment or even a few pointers...(i have treid Google! ). Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Isn't this like cheating on an exam, that is, trying to get the questions so you can answer better during the exam?

The name of the group is fancy but in fact, what they do is market funds managed by Goldman Sachs (such as their Global Alpha fund) to high net worth individuals. So it is a marketting goup, not a trading group.

Sounds like a high-risk hedge fund. Try to ask them how long the group has formed and what is the job security like.
