Two Jobs One interview..

February 5th, 2007, 2:46 pm

I am worried about the potential pitfalls of interviewing for two different positions at the same time. The desk VP's will be there at the same time interviewing me, the potential pitfalls I can see are "Which job do you want the most?" "Which is the area of finance which interests you the most(i.e. which desk do you want to work on)" etc. Also when you want to "sell" your skills set to the position, it seems tricky when there are two positions which are slightly different to each other. Also the obvious question "Why did you apply for more than one job".I would be interested in anyone who has had a similar experience and has some advice to offer on how to play this! Cheers

Thanks for the quick reply outrun. Do you have other characteristics that I want to avoid, you mentioned indifference and humbleness are bad atmospheres for the interview.
