Back from vacation, the Maldive Islands. The the people are very kind and interesting and the fish were beautiful, I can rec it to anyone who likes the ocean, watersports, and relaxation. But I have to teach at night this semester so expect few posts and fewer recipies....since my wife barely cooks it's frozen pizzas and take out for us until May. BTW, I also travel for weeks at a time for a living - so expect me to come and go.You guys are my cyber-friends but you really need girlfriends instead of starting threads about the whereabouts of a boob like myself. Or read Steve Shreve's stuff over and over again instead. Anything but this.Paul, please lock this thread and throw it down a memory hole! Omar did not like Reza's 'Where's Omar?' thread, and I now know the feeling!(although with only 84 visits, I am comforted by my reduced-scale celebrity (* -1 = infamy) or anomnity, or irrelevance.Now, to look for Johnny and Martingale's recent technical posts and see if I an make some money off their ideas.....hmmmm. What to short? January effect technicals resolving sideways....vega looks interesting for the rest of the month....'rega' is the sensitivity to correlation...let's take a look at that with the January effect expectation....hmmmm.....this index and its underlyings look ripe for the plucking...., oh, what's that?gotta go.
