Ms Rowling appears to want to be all things to all people:on the one hand, she claims: 'Christianity inspired Harry Potter',on the other Dumbledore's a homo

Something was lost between books 3 and 4.I remember buying the first 3 books in London, after all they had won the Smarties prize (I do like this kind of books, from Eoin Colfer's Artemis Fowl to Astrid Lindgren's Bill Bergson, Master Detective). They were quite enjoyable, had a flow to it that the following books miss, the simultaneous progression of the school's year and the main plot. The 1st movie tried too hard to be true to the dialogs and ended up clumsy (specially the 2nd half, it is badly edited).Book 4 became too big, book 5 is not very enjoyable, book 6 is somewhat better, book 7 started good and got better, it became again a page-turner. Although a rational analysis of plot will still show holes, patches, inconsistencies and the like, book 7 got the good old suspension of disbelief running again.

so what do folks think about the story that the chick who plays Hermione dropped out of Brown University because her classmates would shout "10 points to Gryffindor" whenever she said something in class ? (she says it's untrue)
