Books ....

Hi all,I've been trying for a while to find a book that explains the maths behind basic derivatives in english rather than maths formulas.I need something that is pretty thorough but doesnt assume I'm a quant to start with Any suggestions ?

try wilmott's introductory book, there also might be more basic-level books that i am not aware of.

Well, if you want basic, the try Natenberg's Options Volatility & Pricing. That's the book that most pros started out reading before moving on to other, more advanced texts. It has been some time since I've read it, but I don't remember the book being very formula heavy. Hope that helps.
