ok, here's my two cents...i interviewed with them 3+ years ago. they invited 16+ people on a single day and administered a written exam...all kinds of math/stats/programming. that was the first part of the day. they picked 2-3 out of the 16. us unlucky 2-3 got to meet a bunch of people in their group that same afternoon. then i got invited back for another round to meet with more people, one-on-one interviews, a free lunch and so on. then i waited, waited, waited for weeks. in the mean time i got another offer and i told CS i needed a decision from them...they stalled. i accpted the other offer elsewhere and then they came back with an offer. too little too late. i'm sure a lot has changed in 3+ years, but i'm glad i didn't go there at the time. i heard unpleasant stories from people that had previously worked there.

Credit Suiise have used an outfit of witless bozos called "Resource Solutions".They are the most incompetent and bureaucratically high handed idiots that I have ever seen in the recruitment process. Thus it would not shock me if they'd lost your application and were simply covering their arses, or that they had passed on the offer to someone else by mistake.

I heard that Credit Suisse has recently booted out Resource Solutions, who I agree are absolutely awful (they mostly employ failed headhunters, think about it......).By all accounts the new HR team are much slicker so hopefully the process should be better now.

Excellent news Good point about failed headhunters, the ideal would be to have an inhouse HHing cability, and this has been tried be most of the major banks, and as far as I am aware has always failed miserably.

has anyone worked in the GMAG team ? or was in there during an internship ? any feedback ? I have attended a presentation of this group, and the work done there seems very good. (I'm not talking about the recruitment process...)

are you talking GMAG of CS in the US or UKsomewhat I keep thinking everyone is referring to the UK situation and then realised more people are talking about the USQuoteOriginally posted by: Alekkhas anyone worked in the GMAG team ? or was in there during an internship ? any feedback ?
