CEP

Does anyone out there use a complex event processing platform for trading/data processing etc.? Smth like Streambase or Aleri? If you do, would greatly appreciate any comments.THanks a mi in advance.

I don't know if you are still looking for information on CEP engines and companies. I recently went through very thrill due diligence with some of the CEP providers. If you are still interested let me know.

I am also interested in CEP, just curious if any one actually use it.This one seems pretty good, I will try it laterhttp://www.cs.cornell.edu/bigreddata/cayuga/ I downloaded coral8, this one seems better.

Open source CEP: http://esper.codehaus.org/I would also recommend to download StreamBase and check it out: www.Streambase.comThere is also http://www.progress.com/apama/index.ssp and many others. Some hedge funds and banks use Apama, Coral8, StreamBase and Athena to my knowledge.
