Probability of success?

May 15th, 2008, 5:32 pm

Hi all, My situation is like this. I am from a top FE program and will be doing an internship in an investment bank in NY this summer. Now i would like to also utilize my time in NY for a Full Time job search in addition to doing well in my internship and getting a full time offer from them. So, would you suggest that i use HH in NY and inform them now itself that i am going to be there for 3 months and am very keen on interviewing. Also, is there any likelihood of success in the job hunt in NY at this point? I mean, are there any openings at all in front office jobs? Has the job market improved at all since January? And is the market in London any better? My first preference is NY but i would like to start looking in London as well. Thanks.

Berkeley internships are from mid-Oct to mid-Jan... not in the summer.
