(Note that the MMath does not exist as a separate degree, the BA with MMath is, in effect, a single degree.) Everybody elsewho passes Part III is entitled to a Master of Advanced Studies or MASt.This represents what we believe will be the case, not what we know will be the case.If this sort of thing matters to you, note that the changes still have to be approved.from

That the proposal for the introduction of the degree of Master of Advanced Studies in the University set out in the Joint Report of the Council and the General Board on the establishment of a degree of Master of Mathematics and a degree of Master of Advanced Study, dated 8 December 2008 and 12 November 2008 (Reporter, p. 338), be approved.24. That the amendments to Statute B of the University set out in Recommendation II in paragraph 11 of the Joint Report of the Council and the General Board on the establishment of a degree of Master of Mathematics and a degree of Master of Advanced Study, dated 8 December 2008 and 12 November 2008 (Reporter, p. 338), be approved and that these amendments be submitted under the Common Seal of the University to Her Majesty in Council for approval.25. That, subject to the approval of Graces 2, 3, and 4, the amendments to the regulations contained in the Council's Notice, dated 9 March 2009 (Reporter, p. 575), be approved, with effect from 1 October following the date on which the amendments of Statute B take effect.

Maybe only the new punters will get em?when they changed various 4 year engineering degrees, they awarded masters degrees retroactively to past students. One assumes they will do the same for math
