In New Jersey it was not an Obama backlash. It was a revolt against Jon Corzine.

VA was never a sure thing for Obama. somehow he won it last year, but VA will be a swing state for some time, until it turns into blueactually, Dem defeat in VA is a good thing. they talk to much, stir opinions, and do nothing. they should pass important legislations instead, while have majority.
