I'd been using a dying laptop which finally gave out.I just finished building a new system, and I used AMD because it was cheaper. Built an entire 8-core system (AMD FX-8120 CPU) for $1000 CAD.So now we have an AMD system available in case that is of any help.

Just buy a new one? Even used one from 1 year ago most likely costs just a little bit more than an old mobo on it's own.
