Two offers 1) from a large hedge fund in CT having more than 30B in AUM.Another from a top tier us i-bank in ny. Same job - prop trading and same money. Any comments!

Am surprised they are hiring!ILT, we both know that you are inclined to go to the HF - the reservation is maybe the commute/move to CT? What's stopping you?

no brainer. most folks on that that prop desk would take that job at the HF in a heartbeat.

And suppose ilt is not good enough? Won't living in the city give him more exposure to Plan B?I am assuming some of you are familiar with ilt. And obviously the people hiring think he is pretty good. But if you don't know - or if you knew he was going to flop at it or the fund was going to blow up - the city and the i-bank are a good option.
